Tim was born in Rochester, NY and moved to Atlanta in 1981. He turned professional at 19 and became one of the youngest PGA members in the country to earn the PGA's highest ranking of Class "A" at the age of 23. Tim has been one of the top teachers in Georgia for over 20 years. He is a member of the professional advisory staff with TaylorMade Golf Corporation and has appeared on The Golf Channel, PGA.com and has been a guest on numerous television and radio programs.
From 2011 thru 2015, Tim ran the Tim Weinhart Golf Academy at The Standard Club. In October of 2015, the Tim Weinhart Golf Academy moved to Heritage Golf Links, 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta. Tim's playing achievements include competing in six (6) major championships. He is one of the nation's few club professionals to have qualified for the US Open (2012), the PGA Championship five (5) times (2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009) and qualify for the Web.com Tour in 2007. Tim has qualified for the National Club Professional Championship 16 times and has qualified or competed in 34 PGA Tour sponsored events during his career. Tim currently works with players of all skill levels from beginners to professionals. Tim's students have won on almost every level; including, AJGA, SEJGT, Hurricane Junior Golf Tours as well as wins on various mini tours including Open Golf Atlanta and the Hopkins Golf Tour.
Wes Helfrich is a PGA Member of the Georgia Section, turning professional after graduating from Mississippi State University and the Professional Golf Management Program in 1992.
Wes has been the Head Golf Professional at Northwood Country Club for the past 11 years. During his tenure, he planned and coordinated the yearly golf calendar for an active 500+ member club playing 40,000 rounds annually. Included was a successful teaching program that helped all skill levels; from junior golfers, to ladies group clinics and the single digit handicap players. Wes passed on his knowledge on the importance of the fundamentals and the swing process with effective drills to improve the students abilities.
Oswald Drawdy is a PGA member and has been instructing since 1998. He is the founder and CEO of Accelerized Golf as well as the developer and patentee of Accelerized Golf's Hotlines technology. Oswald has been intricately involved in each of the 20+ Accelerized Golf facilities. He developed the Accelerized instructor training program and has trained over 40 certified Accelerized instructors.
As an instructor, he has worked with a number of PGA Tour players including Charles Howell and Craig Perks. Oswald's competitive career included events on the PGA Tour including the 1993 US Open, the Web.com Tour, South African Tour, Asian Tour and Canadian Tour. Oswald is a graduate of Clemson University and was both a three-time All-American and three-time Academic All-American.
Bob played on the Georgia Southern University golf team with former PGA Tour players Mike Donald and Jodie Mudd. After finishing as a quarterfinalist in the United States Amateur Championship, Burk served as captain of the squad his senior year while completing his degree in Journalism. After a short stint playing the mini-tour circuit he settled into his first golf professional’s position at Palmetto Dunes Resort on Hilton Head Island. Bob has now served as both a PGA Head Professional, and PGA Director of Instruction in the Georgia Section for over 20 years.
Burk won the Central Georgia Youth Development Award in 2014 and was named Teacher of the Year in 2016. He’s also won several senior professional events, including the Georgia Senior PGA Championship, and has played in the Senior Professional National Championship three times.
