Located just minutes from downtown Atlanta, HGL is easily accessible from I-285 and I-85 in Tucker, GA. Originally opened in 1996 as “Heritage Golf Club,” the golf course was nominated that year as one of the “Best New Golf Courses in America” by Golf Digest magazine. In fact, it remains one of the most celebrated public courses in the greater Atlanta area to this day. Furthermore, the golf club still boasts one of the highest slope ratings in Georgia.
The golf course at Heritage Golf Links is designed around a 20-acre lake, with water in play on several holes. As a result, the course’s rolling terrain and dramatic elevation changes provide stunning vistas, and golfers of every skill level love playing our challenging yet fun layout.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your team for a wonderful experience at Heritage Golf Links this past weekend. My father and I had the opportunity to play at Heritage and we were made to feel welcome by everyone we encountered. I would especially appreciate it if you would pass along my thanks to Scott. I spoke with him on the phone prior to our visit, and he was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I also have to compliment you on the facility itself. Heritage is a beautiful property, and the view from the 13th tee box is truly spectacular, one of the most memorable golf course views I've seen anywhere. Thank you again for the hospitality. My father and I thoroughly enjoyed our day and look forward to visiting again.
